Kiam 2.8L Rice Cooker

Kiam 2.8L Rice Cooker earns its place in a busy kitchen mainly because of the two pots. Most cookers ship with one, so the moment you want to cook something after the rice, you have to stop and wash it first. With two pots you keep one for rice and one for a second dish, and the washing-up waits until the meal is over.

The outer body is stainless steel. A cooker takes knocks and splashes every day, and a steel body handles that better than plastic while wiping clean in seconds. Over a few years of daily use, that is the difference between a cooker that still looks usable and one that does not.

Capacity is 2.8 litres, which covers one meal for a medium household. Running this Kiam Rice Cooker 2.8 Litre alongside the stove also frees the burner that would otherwise be tied up with rice, so the curry and the rice finish at the same time instead of one after the other.

If you are comparing a 2.8 litre rice cooker against others, count the pots and check the body material. A double pot rice cooker with a stainless steel rice cooker body covers the two things that actually change how the machine feels day to day.

Important Usage Instructions

• Fit only one pot on the heating plate at a time and make sure it is seated flat.
• Wash the rice, then fill water to the marked level — never above the maximum line.
• Wipe the base of the pot dry before placing it inside the cooker.
• Unplug before cleaning and never immerse the outer body or the plug in water.
• Keep the heating plate free of grains and dried starch so heat transfers evenly.
