VISION Electric Iron – Model No. VIS-DEI-005 is a full-size mains iron for regular household pressing. It runs at 1000–1200 W on a 220–230 V, 50 Hz supply and weighs 1.5 to 1.8 kg. That weight is doing useful work: a heavier iron sets a crease from its own mass, so you are not pushing down on the handle through a whole basket of clothes.

The sole plate carries a Ceramic Coating. A ceramic face slides over cotton and synthetics with less drag than a plain metal plate, and once the iron is cold it wipes clean with a soft damp cloth instead of needing scouring.

Heat is handled by a thermostat, and the dial moves through six temperature steps. Those steps are the point of the model — you drop the setting for silk and synthetics, then raise it for cotton and linen, rather than guessing between a single low and high position. Important Usage Instructions

• Match the temperature step to the garment care label — start low for silk and synthetics, then move up for cotton and linen.
• Let the iron reach the selected setting before you begin, and test on an inside seam if you are unsure about a fabric.
• Stand the iron on its heel every time you pause; never leave it face down on cloth while it is switched on.
• Unplug the iron before you step away from the board and let it cool completely before storing it.
• Wipe the cooled ceramic sole plate with a soft damp cloth, avoid metal scourers, and do not wind the cable tightly around a hot body.
