Click Metal Net Closet Fan 18″

Click Metal Net Closet Fan 18″ is the real difference. Most closet fans use a plastic guard, which turns brittle in heat and cracks when knocked. This one has a metal guard, which lasts far better in a shop, a warehouse or any busy working space.

The blade measures 450 mm — 18 inches — which is a large size for a closet fan. A bigger blade moves more air at a lower speed, so it is well suited to pushing air from one end of a room or shop to the other.

Motor speed is 1150 RPM and power draw is 60 W, running on 220 V, 50 Hz. Power factor is 0.92, meaning most of the current drawn is actually converted into work rather than wasted. Insulation is 'E' class, the rating for how much heat the motor winding can take.

When comparing any Click Metal Net Closet Fan, look past the inch figure: check whether the guard is metal or plastic, what the wattage is, and which insulation class the motor uses. Those three decide how many years the fan lasts.

Important Usage Instructions

• Switch off and unplug before cleaning; wipe the guard and blade with a dry cloth and keep water out of the motor housing.
• Never run the fan with the guard removed, bent or cracked, and keep children away from the grille.
• Dust on the blades unbalances them and makes the fan noisy — clean the blades every few weeks in dusty months.
• If the fan starts humming, vibrating or slowing down, switch it off and have it checked instead of running it on.
• Keep the motor away from rain and direct sun, and do not hang cloth or plastic over a running fan.
