Haier H32S80EFX 32 inch QLED FHD Android Google TV

Haier H32S80EFX 32 inch QLED FHD Android Google TV is sized for the rooms a 43-inch set will not fit — a bedroom, a child's study, a shop counter. What makes it unusual at this size is the resolution: 1920 × 1080 Full HD, where most 32-inch models stop at HD. On news tickers and subtitles that difference is immediately visible.

The panel is QLED with a 4000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m² brightness and 16.7 million colour depth, so colours stay rich instead of looking thin the way small budget panels often do. Response time is 6.5 ms and the refresh rate is 60 Hz.

Google TV runs on an ARM Cortex quad-core processor with 1.5 GB of DDR3 RAM and 8 GB of storage. Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video and Google Play arrive pre-installed, Google Assistant handles voice search from the Bluetooth remote, and Chromecast built in lets a phone push video to the screen. A DVB-S/S2 satellite tuner alongside ATV and DVB-T/C/T2 means a dish, cable or antenna feed connects straight in.

Two practical numbers finish the case for this Haier 32 Inch QLED TV. Gross weight is just 3.8 kg, so it can be wall-mounted even on a thin partition wall without heavy anchors. Rated power consumption is 60 W, which stretches IPS backup much further during load-shedding, and the set takes a wide 100-240 V input. Connections run to three HDMI 1.4 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a composite input, a headphone out, Wi-Fi and Ethernet, with 10 W × 2 speakers, Dolby Digital decoding and Auto Volume Levelling. As a compact Haier 32 Inch Smart TV or as a second QLED FHD Google TV for the bedroom, it covers the basics properly.

Important Usage Instructions

• Use a voltage stabiliser or surge protector if the supply in your area rises and falls sharply through the evening.
• Keep the screen out of direct line with a window so reflections do not sit on the picture.
• Use the supplied wall mount kit with anchors suited to your wall type, and leave clearance behind the panel for airflow.
• Connect the dish, cable or antenna feed to the RF input and a set-top box or player to an HDMI port.
• Clean the screen only with a dry or barely damp microfibre cloth; never spray liquid or use cleaning chemicals.
