Hisense 189 L Chest Freezer

Hisense 189 L Chest Freezer is for the household that shops in bulk — a month of fish, Qurbani meat, frozen vegetables or shop stock that all has to go in at once. Gross capacity is 189 litres and the net freezer capacity is also 189 litres, so the entire interior works as deep-freeze space.

The compressor in this Hisense Chest Freezer 189 Litre model is an inverter type, so it varies speed with the load instead of hammering on and off. It is rated to climate class ST, meaning it is designed to work in ambient temperatures of roughly 18°C to 38°C, which matches a Bangladeshi summer. Maximum noise level is 42 dB(A), quiet enough for a kitchen, veranda or shop floor.

An inside glass door sits under the lid, so cold air does not spill out every time the freezer is opened — genuinely useful during load-shedding or in a busy shop. There is a door lock and an LED on the door, one storage basket inside, a recessed handle, and a foaming door design. Underneath it stands on two fixed feet plus two directional wheels, so it can be rolled out for cleaning.

As an inverter chest freezer it is still a manual defrost deep freezer: both defrosting and the control system are manual, the condenser is mounted inside, foaming components are C-P and the power cable is 170 cm long. It runs on 220~240V / 50Hz and carries CB certification. Before ordering, check the space: the unit measures 891 × 557 × 842 mm (W × D × H) without the handle, and 920 × 575 × 888 mm packed. A chest freezer with door lock like this is a sensible choice where children are around or stock needs securing.

Important Usage Instructions

• Stand the freezer level on a firm floor with a hand-span of clearance behind and at the sides for airflow.
• Leave it upright and switched off for a few hours after delivery before plugging it in.
• Defrost manually once the ice layer gets thick; unplug first and never chip ice off with a knife or sharp tool.
• Do not overload past the basket line, and keep the inside glass door closed so cold air stays in.
• Use the door lock if children are around, and wipe the gasket clean so the lid seals properly.
