Jovision JVS-N935-ADL 3.0MP Dual Light Video & Audio PoE Network Camera

Jovision JVS-N935-ADL 3.0MP Dual Light Video & Audio PoE Network Camera is a 3 megapixel IP dome camera. Its 1/2.9 inch CMOS sensor records 2304 × 1296 video at 20 fps, which is enough detail to recognise a face at the counter or the front gate rather than just see that someone moved.

Night coverage is the reason most buyers pick this 3MP Dual Light Camera. Infrared gives black-and-white vision up to 25 metres, and the white light turns the same scene into colour footage, so clothing and vehicle colours stay readable after dark. With the light on, minimum illumination is 0 Lux — the camera keeps working in a completely dark room. Humanoid motion detection, DWDR, digital 3D noise reduction and smart defog help keep the picture usable in glare, dust and fog, and up to 8 privacy mask areas can be blocked out.

A built-in microphone records sound along with the video. There is no speaker, so this Jovision Dome Camera cannot be used to talk back to a visitor. It is a fixed dome, not a motorised one, so it watches the single direction you aim it at instead of covering a whole room by itself.

Two practical points before you install this Jovision PoE Camera. First, there is no memory card slot in the specification, so recordings need an NVR on the same network — plan the recorder and its hard disk with the camera. Second, power comes over the network cable through IEEE802.3af PoE, so one LAN run carries both electricity and video from a PoE switch or a PoE NVR; a DC 12V adapter is also supported. The IP53 housing is rated for dust and light water spray, which suits indoor rooms, corridors and covered outdoor areas rather than positions in direct rain. Because it is a standard ONVIF PoE IP Camera, it also records to third-party recorders.

Important Usage Instructions

• Feed the camera from an IEEE802.3af PoE switch or PoE NVR port, or use a DC 12V supply if PoE is not available.
• Pair it with an NVR for recording — the camera has no card slot, so footage is stored on the recorder's hard disk.
• Mount it under a shade or eave; the IP53 rating covers dust and light spray, not direct rain.
• Aim the dome at a doorway, counter or gate, and remember the view is fixed once tightened.
• Wipe the dome cover clean regularly, since dust on the glass reflects the IR light and fogs the night image.
