Kiam Rice Cooker 2.8L Single Pot

Kiam Rice Cooker 2.8L Single Pot is deliberately simple. Rice in, water in, press the switch — there is nothing to learn and nothing to set. For an older family member, a bachelor cooking for himself, or anyone using a rice cooker for the first time, that plainness is the whole point.

A powerful heating system shortens the cycle, which is what you want on a weekday morning when school and office start at the same time. You put the cooker on and get on with everything else instead of standing over a pot.

Once the rice is done, the automatic keep warm mode takes over and holds it at serving temperature. In a household where people eat at different times, that means nobody reheats a plate on the stove. As a keep warm rice cooker, this 2.8 litre rice cooker covers one meal for a small to medium family.

Comparing any single pot rice cooker comes down to three things: does the capacity match your family, does it keep the rice warm afterwards, and is it simple enough that anyone at home can use it. This Kiam single pot rice cooker is built around those three.
