Ocean Air Fryer 4 Litre 1500 Watt

Ocean Air Fryer 4 Litre 1500 Watt (model OAF-5118) is the simple, everyday way to fry without filling a pan with oil. Hot air is driven around the food instead, so chips, nuggets, chicken pieces and vegetables crisp on the outside with only a light brushing of oil.

The 4 litre frying basket holds enough for a small family's snacks or one round of an evening tea-time spread. The basket carries a non-stick coating, and the feature that sets this model apart is that the frying basket and pan are both suitable for dishwashers — greasy parts go straight into the machine instead of being scrubbed by hand, which is the part of air frying most people dislike.

A temperature control dial covers 80°C to 200°C and the timer runs up to 30 minutes. Automatic Switch-Off technology ends the cycle when the time is up, so food does not burn if you walk away, and the cool-touch handle lets you pull the drawer out mid-cycle to shake the contents. This 1500 Watt Air Fryer is built from steel and plastic and runs on 220-240V.

Note that this Ocean Air Fryer uses mechanical dial control — there is no digital touch panel and no preset menu buttons. If you are choosing between the two Ocean 4-litre models, the OAF-8004P gives independent timer and temperature dials plus published dimensions and weight, while this 4 Litre Air Fryer is the simpler unit whose Dishwasher Safe Basket and pan are its documented advantage.

Important Usage Instructions

• Preheat for two to three minutes so the first batch crisps rather than steams.
• Spread food in a single loose layer — a packed basket blocks the hot air and leaves the middle soft.
• Shake the basket halfway through the cycle for even browning.
• Keep clear space behind and above the unit so the hot air can exhaust freely.
• Let the parts cool before putting the basket and pan in the dishwasher, and never immerse the main body or cord in water.
