Rangs 02 Ton Premium Series Inverter Split Type AC

RANGS 02 TON PREMIUM SERIES INVERTER SPLIT TYPE AC (model RAC-27INVSH) is a 2 Ton Inverter Split AC in cooling-only form, rated for rooms of 180-240 square feet. That suits a large bedroom, a drawing room or a small office.

Being an inverter unit, the compressor varies its speed with the cooling load rather than cycling fully on and off. The compressor is a GKT208MAC inverter type with a 10-130 Hz frequency range. Rated cooling capacity is 7034 Watt against a rated power draw of 2040 Watt, giving an EER of 3.44 W/W. Maximum input power is 2550 Watt and maximum input current 12.14 A, with a rated cooling input current of 8.98 A.

This Rangs Premium Series Inverter AC uses R32 refrigerant, charged at 0.83 kg. It runs on a 230V single-phase, 50 Hz supply and withstands 130V-280V, which matters where mains voltage swings. The outdoor unit is rated to operate between 20 and 46 °C.

The indoor unit uses a Wolong ZWA138D71B BLDC motor with a 45W mechanical output and a rated fan speed of 1180 r/min, driving a Φ108 × 842 mm cross-flow fan with SAN 30% GF blades. The evaporator has 2 rows and 18 tubes of DHP copper (C12200) with 21 × 12.7 mm tube pitch, 1.2 mm fin spacing and golden-coated louvered aluminium fins, protected by a mesh filter. Outdoors sit a microchannel condenser, a Φ420 × 133 mm four-blade fan at 850 r/min and a Wolong YYW55-6-7273 fan motor. When you compare a Rangs 2 Ton Inverter AC with other models, look at rated capacity, EER, refrigerant type and the voltage window.

Important Usage Instructions

• Size the room first — this unit is rated for 180-240 sq feet, and a much larger room will keep the compressor running long.
• Keep doors and windows shut while cooling so the inverter compressor can settle at a low speed.
• Wash the mesh filter every few weeks; a blocked filter cuts airflow and pushes up power draw.
• Keep the outdoor unit shaded and clear of walls or plants so the microchannel condenser can reject heat.
• Have the R32 charge and electrical connections checked by a trained technician only, and never top up refrigerant yourself.
