Sharif Mixer Grinder SH-MG716 750W

SHARIF MIXER GRINDER SH-MG716 750W is built for the job that eats the most time in a Bangladeshi kitchen — the daily paste of onion, garlic and ginger, plus dry spices ground fresh. What takes half an hour on a shil-pata takes a few minutes here. The motor is rated at 750 W, so a hard knob of ginger or a handful of dry garlic does not stall it.

Three speed control settings do the real work. The lower speeds suit soft ingredients and wet masala paste made with a little water; the top speed grinds dry spices down to a fine powder. Running a short burst at high speed near the end pulls down the larger pieces that cling to the wall of the jar.

Both the jar and the blade are stainless steel, and that matters more than it sounds. Turmeric, salt and anything sour will stain a plastic jar and leave a smell behind for the next batch; a stainless steel jar rinses clean and does not hold odour. The outer body is tough ABS plastic — light to lift onto the counter, but not brittle if it takes a knock.

If you are comparing a Sharif 750W Mixer Grinder against other kitchen machines, look past the wattage alone to the jar material and the number of speeds, because those decide whether one machine can handle both wet paste and dry grinding. This Sharif Mixer Grinder covers both, cleans up quickly and comes with a 12 month warranty. The 3 speed control layout is simple enough that anyone in the house can use it without a manual.

Important Usage Instructions

• Do not fill the jar past its marked level, and add a little water when making wet masala paste.
• Run the motor in short bursts of under a minute with a pause between them; continuous heavy grinding overheats any motor.
• Lock the jar and lid properly before switching on, and hold the lid while the machine runs.
• Switch off and unplug before removing the jar, changing anything or cleaning.
• Wash the jar and blade right after use and dry them; never put the motor base in water.
