Singer Pressure Cooker 5.5L SPP-5.5I-SS

Singer Pressure Cooker 5.5L SPP-5.5I-SS is a 5.5 litre stainless steel pressure cooker. This size is suitable for a four to five person household, allowing you to cook a full pot of dal, meat curry, or khichuri in one go without needing to cook in two batches.

The cooker features a tri-layer construction, meaning it is made with an additional layer between the stainless steel layers. This design spreads heat evenly across the entire base, reducing the risk of food like dal or milk-based dishes sticking and burning.

It is compatible with both gas and induction cooktops, so you don't need to buy separate cookware if you have an induction hob at home. The lid includes a special silicon gasket that maintains pressure and prevents steam from escaping. Cooking under pressure reduces cooking time and saves both gas and electricity.

When choosing the Singer Pressure Cooker 5.5L SPP-5.5I-SS, ensure the capacity suits your family size, the base is tri-layer, and it is compatible with your cooktop type (gas or induction). It is also easy to clean after use.

Important Usage Instructions

• Never fill the cooker more than two-thirds full, and keep it to half for foods that foam such as dal, rice, and lentils.
• Check that the silicon gasket is seated evenly in the lid rim and that the vent is clear before every use.
• Do not force the lid open while pressure is still inside; wait for the pressure to drop on its own or release it through the vent first.
• On an induction hob start at a medium setting and let the cooker come up to pressure gradually rather than on full power.
• Wash the gasket separately by hand, dry it before refitting, and store the cooker with the lid resting upside down so the seal does not stay compressed.
