Sony 55 Inch Bravia 2 II 4K Processor X1™ 4K Ultra HD High Dynamic Range (HDR) Smart TV (Google TV)

Sony 55 Inch BRAVIA 2 II 4K Processor X1™ 4K Ultra HD High Dynamic Range (HDR) Smart TV (Google TV) — model K-55S20M2 — is a 55 inch LCD television built around a Backlit LED lighting system and a 3840 x 2160 native resolution. The larger panel suits a family living room where people watch from a few metres away.

Everything on screen is handled by the 4K Processor X1. HDR10 and Hybrid Log-Gamma content keeps its bright highlights and shadow detail, 4K X-Reality PRO cleans and upscales lower-resolution sources, Live Colour widens the palette, and Motionflow XR reduces blur in sport and action. The panel is rated for an 89 x 89 degree viewing angle.

This BRAVIA 2 II set runs Google TV with Google Assistant built in, and the included remote carries a built-in mic for voice search. Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2 and Alexa-enabled devices are all supported, and the BRAVIA Connect app lets you change volume and settings from a phone. Audio comes from 2 x 10W built-in speakers with Clear Phase, plus Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support.

Ports on this Sony 55 Inch TV include 4x HDMI inputs, 1x TOSLINK optical audio output, 2x USB-A, an RJ45 Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.3. Console players get Auto Low Latency Mode, Auto Genre Picture Mode and Auto HDR Tone Mapping with PS5. Without the stand the TV measures 1227 x 724 x 82 mm, weighs 13.2 kg, draws 141W in use and takes a 300 x 300 mm VESA mount.
