Important Usage Instructions

• Fit a SATA hard disk before first use — the recorder cannot store footage without one, and it supports up to 10 TB.
• Remember there are no PoE ports on this model; power each camera from an adapter or a PoE switch and run only the network cable to the recorder.
• Keep the unit in a ventilated, dust-free place between -10°C and 55°C, and never stack anything on top of it.
• Use a UPS or voltage protector — sudden power cuts during writing are the most common cause of a corrupted recording disk.
• Change the default password on first login and check the recording schedule and retention days after installation.
