Vision 2:1 Multimedia Speaker LOUD-201

Vision 2:1 Multimedia Speaker LOUD-201 is a three-piece audio set built around one bass cabinet and two satellite speakers. Total rated output is 54W R.M.S, divided as 30W RMS from the subwoofer and 12W RMS from each satellite, so film dialogue, TV audio and music keep a defined low end instead of collapsing into one flat channel.

Driver sizing is what separates this Vision 54W Speaker from an ordinary stereo pair. The bass cabinet carries a 6.5-inch driver, while the satellites use four 3-inch units between them. Frequency response runs from 20Hz to 20 KHz, the signal-to-noise ratio is quoted at 70 dB or better, and amplification is handled by three UTC2050 integrated circuits.

Sources are flexible. The Vision Multimedia Speaker LOUD-201 accepts Bluetooth 4.0 for wireless playback from a phone or laptop, a USB port and an SD card slot for playing files directly, and a built-in FM radio tuner. RGB lighting is fitted to the cabinet, and the bundled remote control handles volume, source and track changes without getting up.

Shoppers comparing the Vision LOUD-201 with other desktop sets usually look at RMS output, subwoofer driver size and the number of input paths rather than headline peak figures. On those three points this set states 54W R.M.S, a 6.5-inch bass driver and four ways to feed it audio, which is the practical information needed for a bedroom, a study desk or a small drawing room.

Important Usage Instructions

• Place the subwoofer on the floor near a wall corner and keep the two satellites at ear height, roughly the same distance from the listening position.
• Leave the vent of the bass cabinet unblocked; pushing it flush against furniture muddies the low frequencies.
• Keep the volume below the point where the sound starts to distort, as sustained clipping is the usual cause of driver damage.
• Pair one Bluetooth device at a time, and switch the source with the remote before plugging in a USB drive or SD card.
• Switch the set off at the mains during storms or long absences, and wipe the cabinets with a dry cloth only.
