Vision 55″ QLED Google TV 4K RQ1 Galaxy Pro

Vision 55″ QLED Google TV 4K RQ1 Galaxy Pro is a 139 cm (55 inch) smart television built on a QLED DLED panel with 3840 × 2160 4K resolution. Brightness is rated at 350 nits and the panel covers 90% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, which keeps skin tones and scenery believable in a normally lit living room.

Motion is handled by an HSR 120 Hz refresh rate together with MEMC, and the set decodes HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision. For console and PC users there is Game Mode, ALLM, VRR and PC Mode. This Vision RQ1 Galaxy Pro runs Google TV on Android 14, so apps install from the Google Play Store and Google Assistant handles voice search, while Chromecast is built in for casting from a phone.

Inside, a quad-core A55 processor at 1.5 GHz works with a Mali-G52 GPU, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Dual band Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz plus Bluetooth 5.1 cover wireless duties, and the terminal panel carries 3 HDMI ports with CEC, ARC, eARC and MHL, 2 USB ports, LAN, AV input, RF input, an optical SPDIF output and an earphone jack. Audio comes from 2 × 15 W down-fire speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos and DBX-TV Total Sonics.

If you are shortlisting a Vision 4K QLED TV, weigh panel type, refresh rate, HDR support and speaker output rather than screen size alone. The Vision 55 QLED Google TV RQ1 Galaxy Pro draws 130 W in use and under 0.5 W on standby, measures 775 × 290 × 1225 mm with its stand and weighs 9.8 kg. Every RQ1 Galaxy Pro 4K TV box also carries a remote, a wall bracket, a surge protector and a battery set.

Important Usage Instructions

• Run the set through the included surge protector, since voltage swings are the most common cause of panel and power board damage.
• Use the eARC-capable HDMI port when connecting a soundbar or home theatre, and a high-speed HDMI cable for 4K 120 Hz sources.
• Connect to the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band for 4K streaming, and keep the Google TV software updated so apps keep working properly.
• Clean the screen with a dry microfibre cloth only; never spray liquid or use any chemical cleaner directly on the panel.
