Vision Air Fryer 1300w AF-002

Vision Air Fryer 1300w AF-002 is a 5.0-litre countertop air fryer rated at 1300W on a 220V supply. It cooks by circulating hot air instead of submerging food in oil, and the 5-litre basket takes a family-sized batch of chips, wings or roast vegetables in a single run.

This Vision Air Fryer 1300W covers four cooking modes — fry, grill, bake and roast — so snacks, meat and baked items all come from the same appliance. Vision lists chicken, chicken wings, French fries, cake and egg tart among the dishes the AF-002 Air Fryer is intended for, and the manufacturer describes the cooking method as oil-free, smoke-free and low in fat.

The controls are mechanical rather than digital: an external rotating dial sets the temperature and an internal rotating dial sets the timer, so there is no menu system to learn. The inner pot carries a high-temperature non-stick double-spray coating and the basket handle is a double-layer anti-scald type. Removing the basket cuts power to the element, and Vision specifies four-dimensional heat dissipation to manage heat during longer cooking sessions.

When you are choosing between models, what matters on a Vision 5 Litre Air Fryer is basket capacity against your household size, the wattage, whether the pot coating and handle are built for repeated high heat, and what safety cut-off is fitted. This unit is supplied with a fryer plate, a 1.2 m copper power cord with a VDE plug and a high-gloss plastic body, and it is covered by a 1 year brand warranty.

Important Usage Instructions

• Stand the fryer on a heat-resistant surface with clear space behind and above it, because hot air is pushed out of the rear vent.
• Do not fill the 5-litre basket past its marked level; food needs room for air to move around it or it will cook unevenly.
• Preheat for a few minutes and shake the basket midway through chips and wings for an even finish.
• Let the pot cool before washing, and clean the non-stick coating with a soft sponge only — never a metal scourer or knife.
• Unplug after each use and keep the 1.2 m cord away from the hot body and from the edge of the counter.
