Vision Electric Iron VIS-DEI-014(Heavy)

VISION Electric Iron VIS-DEI-014(Heavy) is a dry iron built with weight on its side. At 2.0 to 2.2 kg it presses down on the fabric under its own mass, so thick cotton, denim and curtain folds flatten without you leaning on the handle.

Its soleplate carries a Ceramic Coating Golden Soleplate finish, which lets the plate slide over cloth smoothly and spreads heat evenly across the surface. A thermostat handles temperature control, and the dial offers 6 temperature setting steps so you can drop the heat for thin synthetics and raise it for heavy cotton.

This Vision Heavy Electric Iron runs on 220~230V, 50Hz and draws 1000~1200W. Once the plate reaches the target temperature it switches off automatically, and a pilot light indicator on the body tells you at a glance whether it is heating. Shock proof and burn proof construction plus overheat protection cover the safety side.

The cable is not an afterthought either: a 100% heat proof cotton cable wraps 3 × 0.75 m² pure copper wire, runs 1.5 M long and ends in a VDE 2 pin plug. If you are comparing the VIS DEI 014 against lighter models, weigh up soleplate finish, wattage, iron weight and cable quality together — those four decide how the iron behaves after a year of use.

Important Usage Instructions

• Match the dial to the fabric — the coolest of the 6 steps for synthetics and silk, the hottest for cotton and linen.
• Start with the lightest fabrics and work up the heat, so a hot plate never lands on delicate cloth.
• Keep the iron upright on its heel whenever you pause, never flat on the board or on the garment.
• Wipe the cooled ceramic soleplate with a soft damp cloth; do not scrape it with metal or abrasive powder.
• Unplug after use, let the iron cool fully, then loop the cotton cable loosely instead of winding it tight around the body.
