Important Usage Instructions

• Keep the water between the minimum and maximum marks; boiling a glass jug dry or overfilling it are the two things to avoid.
• Set the kettle down on a flat, dry surface and lift it by the handle only — never carry or rest it by the glass body.
• Do not pour ice-cold water into a jug that is still hot from a boil; let it cool for a minute first.
• Clean the glass with a soft sponge and mild detergent, and remove mineral film with a diluted vinegar or citric acid soak followed by two rinses.
• Keep the power base dry at all times and never immerse the base in water.
