Vision Rice Cooker 3.0 Liter REL-50-05 SS Blue (Double Pot)

VISION Rice Cooker 3.0 Liter REL-50-05 SS Blue (Double Pot) is the three-litre entry in Vision's REL-50-05 line. A pot this size is meant for households that cook rice once and serve the whole family from it, rather than running two smaller batches.

Two inner pots come in the box. One is stainless steel; the other is aluminium with a 1.2 mm actual non-stick coating. Keeping both means you can leave rice in one pot and use the other for khichuri or pulao, and the non-stick surface reduces the chance of food catching at the base.

This REL-50-05 Rice Cooker draws 1100 watts on a 220V, 50Hz line. Vision quotes 25–30 minutes for a full pot of rice at that output. A magnetic switch and built-in thermostat maintain heat at a precise and uniform level and let the cooker settle into keep-warm when cooking ends; the manufacturer further claims an antibacterial action during warm mode.

Being a Vision Stainless Steel Rice Cooker, the body is full stainless steel with a silver base board, and the heating element carries an anti-dirty coating so cleaning stays simple. The two-hole (6–6.5 mm) glass lid with plastic handle and the Al/stainless steel steamer with plastic handle round out what this Vision 3.0 Liter Rice Cooker can do, and a 1 year warranty applies.

Important Usage Instructions

• Always cook with an inner pot seated in the cooker, and make sure the outside of that pot is dry first.
• Keep rice and water below the pot rim — a 3 litre pot boils over easily when filled to the top.
• Fit the glass lid before pressing the cook switch and let the thermostat switch to warm on its own.
• Use wooden or plastic utensils in the aluminium pot so the 1.2 mm non-stick layer is not scratched.
• Disconnect the plug and let the cooker cool before cleaning; wash the pots separately and wipe the heating plate and body with a damp cloth only.
