Important Usage Instructions

• Handle the optical fibre patch cord gently — do not bend it sharply, pinch it under furniture or step on it, as fibre breaks internally without showing damage outside.
• Keep the fibre connector and the port free of dust; leave the protective cap on until the moment you connect it.
• Place the unit in an open, ventilated spot rather than inside a closed cabinet, and keep it away from direct sunlight and water.
• Use your ISP-issued PPPoE username and password on the router you connect to the Ethernet port; the ONU itself only carries the line.
• Unplug the power adapter during lightning storms, and always power the unit off before connecting or disconnecting the fibre.
