Walton Straight Fry Pan with Glass Lid Classic

Walton Straight Fry Pan with Glass Lid Classic (model WCW-SFGC2800) is a 28 cm straight-wall frying pan supplied with a tempered glass lid. The 28 cm size suits an average family pan job — frying fish, making omelettes, tossing vegetables or a light bhuna — in a single batch, and the straight wall keeps oil and gravy inside instead of splashing over the rim.

Inside, the pan uses an environment friendly 3 layer non-stick coating that is PFOA, LEAD and Cadmium free and FDA approved. Food releases cleanly from that surface, which is why the pan saves oil up to 60% compared with ordinary frying, and it wipes clean afterwards without heavy scrubbing.

The handle is an ergonomic stay cool Bakelite handle with high temperature resistance, so it stays comfortable to hold while the pan is hot. The durable tempered glass lid also resists high temperature and lets you watch the food without lifting it and losing steam. This Walton 28 cm Fry Pan is dishwasher safe and oven safe up to 302°F (150°C), and the product is recyclable.

If you are comparing the WCW SFGC2800 with other pans, the practical points are pan diameter, how many coating layers it carries, whether a lid is included and whether the handle stays cool. This Straight Fry Pan with Glass Lid covers all four in one piece.

Important Usage Instructions

• Cook on low to medium heat; a non-stick surface does not need a very high flame and lasts longer without it.
• Use wooden or silicone spatulas and avoid sharp metal tools that can cut into the coating.
• Let the pan cool before washing, since cold water on a hot pan can warp the base.
• Keep the temperature under 302°F (150°C) in the oven and keep the glass lid away from direct flame.
• Clean with a soft sponge and mild detergent, and avoid steel wool or harsh scouring powder.
