Walton Straight Fry Pan with Glass Lid Classic (24 cm)

Walton Straight Fry Pan with Glass Lid Classic (24 cm) is an everyday frying pan with straight side walls, sized for two to four servings. Eggs, fish, cutlets and stir-fried vegetables all sit comfortably in the 24 cm cooking surface, and the straight wall keeps oil and gravy inside the pan instead of splashing over the rim.

Inside, this Greblon C3+ non-stick fry pan uses a German Brand Greblon C3+ coating, while the outside carries a Greblon HTR finish that stands up to burner heat. The three-layer non-stick surface is FDA approved and free of PFOA, lead and cadmium, so food releases cleanly and oil use drops by up to 60%. The body is pressed from AISI 3003 grade aluminium, which spreads heat evenly across the base rather than creating hot spots.

The Walton Straight Fry Pan 24 cm ships with a 4 mm thick tempered glass lid that resists high temperature, letting you watch steam and browning without lifting the cover. Both the knob and the handle are moulded in Bakelite; the ergonomic handle is designed to stay cool while the pan is on the flame. The pan is dishwasher safe, oven safe up to 302°F (150°C), easy to clean and fully recyclable.

If you are comparing the WCW SFGC2400 with other cookware, look at three things: what the interior coating actually is, what grade of metal forms the body, and whether the handle stays cool. The WCW-SFGC2400 answers all three with a named German coating, a stated aluminium grade and a Bakelite stay-cool handle.

Important Usage Instructions

• Cook on low to medium flame; very high heat shortens the life of any non-stick coating.
• Use wooden, silicone or plastic spatulas and never cut food inside the pan with a knife.
• Keep the flame within the base diameter so the Bakelite handle and knob are not licked by fire.
• Let the pan cool naturally before washing, and do not pour cold water on a hot glass lid.
• Wash with a soft sponge and mild detergent; avoid steel wool and abrasive scouring powder.
