Walton Ultra Heat Infrared Cooker

Walton Ultra Heat Infrared Cooker is an infrared cooker with a maximum power of 2200 watts and a touch operating system. Unlike induction cookers, it does not require magnetic cookware — any type of flat pan can be used for cooking.

The cooking power can be adjusted from 300 watts to 2200 watts according to the type of cooking. Low power is suitable for simmering milk or boiling rice, while high power makes frying or boiling water quick and easy. The top part is made of high temperature resistant glass, reducing the risk of breakage even when hot, and it can be easily cleaned with a single cloth.

For safety, it features an auto safety shut off and a timer that can be set for up to 3 hours — allowing you to start cooking and attend to other tasks without worry. The cooker operates on AC220-230V, 50Hz, measures 280 × 360 × 65 mm, and weighs only 2.1 kg, making it easy to fit in small kitchens or on tables.

The Walton Ultra Heat Infrared Cooker heats through an infrared element under a high temperature resistant glass plate, so it is not limited to magnetic cookware the way an induction cooker is. Steel, aluminium, glass or clay — any type of flat pan sits on the plate and starts heating.

Cooking power on this Walton Infrared Cooker runs from 300 watts right up to 2200 watts. The low end suits simmering milk, keeping curry warm or slow boiling rice, while the full 2200 Watt Infrared Cooker setting brings a pan of water to the boil or handles quick frying. Everything is set through a touch operating system on the glass surface, with no mechanical knobs to loosen over time.

A timer of up to 3 hours lets you start a dish and step away, and auto safety shut off cuts power when the set time ends. The Ultra Heat Infrared Cooker runs on AC220-230V, 50Hz, measures 280 × 360 × 65 mm and weighs 2.1 kg, so it stores upright in a cabinet and travels easily to a dining table for hot-pot style cooking.

For a kitchen that already has a gas stove, this Walton Ultra Heat unit works well as a second burner during load-shedding of gas supply, for tea and light frying, or as a portable cooker for a bachelor kitchen and hostel room.

Important Usage Instructions

• Place the cooker on a dry, flat surface and keep at least a hand-width of open space around it so heat can escape.
• Use flat-bottomed pans that sit fully on the marked heating circle; a curved or very small base wastes heat.
• Start at a low wattage for milk and gravy, and use the higher settings only for boiling and frying.
• Do not slide heavy pans across the glass or put a hot pan straight onto a cold plate, and never place an empty pan on a running cooker.
• Switch off, unplug and let the glass cool before wiping it with a soft damp cloth; keep water away from the touch panel and vents.
