Cookware FAQ
Which cookware works on an induction cooker?
Only pans with a magnetic base work on induction. Look for models marked induction-compatible; plain aluminium pans will not heat.
Non-stick or cast iron — which is better?
Non-stick pans need little oil and clean easily, ideal for eggs and fish. Cast iron holds heat well for roti, paratha and searing and lasts for decades with seasoning.
How do I care for a non-stick pan?
Cook on low to medium heat, use wooden or silicone spatulas, and avoid metal scrubbers to protect the coating.
What size fry pan should I buy?
A 24 cm pan suits everyday cooking for 2–3 people; 26–28 cm suits larger families.
